On 15 December more than 150 entrepreneurs from the port community of Tarragona attended the XIV edition of the Association for the Promotion of the Port of Tarragona (APPORTT, Agrupació Per a la Promoció del Port de Tarragona, in Catalan) awards 2016 and subsequent Christmas dinner.
The aim of the APPORTT awards
The Association for the Promotion of the Port of Tarragona (APPORTT, Agrupació Per a la Promoció del Port de Tarragona, in Catalan) wishes to recognise the important work of people, entities and companies that dedicate their efforts within the port sector in the field of the Port of Tarragona.
The performance through its activity and work as well as the projects, actions and strategies that stand out for their innovative character, originality and their projection and leadership, makes these awards recognise the effort and commendable task, in the daily work in favour of the work that is developed within the area of the Port of Tarragona.
Due to the aforementioned, the Association for the Promotion of the Port of Tarragona (APPORTT, Agrupació Per a la Promoció del Port de Tarragona, in Catalan) in the interest of encouraging, stimulating and recognising these efforts, decided, now 13 years ago, to create awards that, in some way highlight the work developed by people, entities and companies in the daily work within the port activity of Tarragona.
